Lessons and Blessings

“Thank you is the best prayer that anyone could say.” -Alice Walker

Gratitude is not only healing, it is the pathway to abundance. As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday here in the US, it is easy to put a lens on what isn’t right this year. Many of us aren’t traveling, communing with family, or even sharing a meal with loved ones. When things don’t always go as planned, our default tends to go to what went wrong and who or what is to blame. That is because we assume that how things have always been are the way they are supposed to be. But if there is one thing we can be sure of, it is that nothing is permanent. Change is always a constant, yet our awareness is unchanging. And it’s often those unexpected detours in life that yield the greatest lessons and blessings - we just have to be open to receive them. Once we do, we attract more abundance to flow our way. This is the power of gratitude. It is a choice, it is a practice, and it connects us to infinite possibilities.

Happy Thanksgiving, my friends. I am so grateful for you, and I wish you many blessings this holiday season!

Namaste,
Sarah
